Character Questions

• How does my character get to the circus?

In Termina posters for the Cirque of Fear are everywhere. All your character has to do is track the circus down and show a interest in becoming a troupe member. Generally they will speak to this guy here and they will get into the circus that way. That being said your character can come to the circus any way they want. There is no real restrictions to this.

• Can my character be related to the canon characters from the game?

Of course! But, you need to be super careful with that. It’s honestly best not to specify how they are related.

• Can I have more than one character?

Yes, you are allowed two characters at a time. And if you save up rupees you can buy a extra character slot from the shop.

You can only have up to three characters. At the moment.

• Can my character use an item from the game?

No – If these items come into play it will be used by a admin and maybe granted upon a character. These will likely be related to a story of some kind.

• What exactly can my character wear? You said this was the Industrial Revolution….

Your character can wear anything they want really! It can be more like the clothes work in the revolution or common clothing in which is related to the games.

• My character is flirty/mean!

That’s great! Keep it in character please~ We must all be friendly to each other because we are all humans.

• My character is trans-gendered!

That’s great! Gender is what a character identifies as – not what their biological sex is. Go ahead if your character is male but wants to be female go ahead confuse us straight people with your amazingly beautiful character!

• My character is asexual/pansexual/gay/bisexual…

Babe, be you – or in this case let your character be whatever they want to be.

“What is this?”

• Can my character be a descendant of two characters?

Sure thing! But, you have to choose one name or both names. There can be some pretty dumb combinations you know. But hey! Your character go for it! _{You cannot be related to more than two people.}

• Can my character be a mix of two races?

Yes! Just give us a good story~

• Can I have a weapon?

Yes. Any faction can have a weapon. Mind you certain weapons can only be bought from our stores but for the most part if you want a sword you can give your character a sword.

Sword spirits can turn into a weapon.

• Can my character smoke/drink?

If they are 18 or older. Yes.

• Can we have a pet?

Preferably only if you are a beast tamer! There may eventually be a meme for this though so its not totally out of the question.

• Can my character own a shop/house?

No. You live in a circus, meaning you live in communal tents or in a caravan.

• Can my character be in a relationship? Can they have sexual relations?

Yes, as long as both are consensual and not in the chat rooms keep that stuff to private rp’s, and remember DA’s rules regarding expect works.

• Can my character have multi colored hair?

Sure, magic, while rarer in Termina is still present so it would not be uncommon for characters who do have hair to have odd hair colors.

• Tattoos?

Course! As long as your character is of an appropriate age. No fifteen year olds getting tattoos please.

• I want my character to have unnatural eye colors! Or heterochromia!

Sure! Go for it. Have the weirdest eye color you want!

• Is this steam punk?

Nope! Cirque of Fear is not steam punk, in fact we are are really nitty gritty - think the american industrial revolution. Lots of smoke stacks and only a few cars.

• What does the world look like?

• Are there rewards for activity/participating in events?
